09:19 AM EDT, 09/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Braskem ( BAK ) said Monday that the US Department of Energy's Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains will negotiate terms for a $50 million financing under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The polyolefins financing would allow Braskem ( BAK ) to expand its production of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene at its La Porte, Texas, facility, the company said.
