SAO PAULO, Sept 17 (Reuters) - A Brazil federal judge on
Wednesday denied a request by farmer group Aprosoja Mato Grosso
to reverse an injunction related to Brazil's soy moratorium, in
practice keeping the pact in place, according to a decision seen
by Reuters.
Brazil's soy moratorium, a private program that bars soy
traders from buying soy from recently deforested areas in the
Amazon, had been suspended by antitrust body CADE last month on
suspicion of breaching competition law.
