SAO PAULO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau ( GGB )
posted a 10% decline in its third-quarter adjusted
net profit on Tuesday, falling to 1.43 billion reais ($248.7
million) but still above the 1.36 billion reais expected by
analysts polled by LSEG.

Gerdau ( GGB ) is Brazil's largest steelmaker by market
capitalization and owns mills across the Americas.
BY THE NUMBERS
Core earnings or adjusted earnings before interest, taxes,
depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) came in at 3.02 billion
reais, down 10% year-on-year but above analysts' expectations of
2.83 billion reais.
Gerdau ( GGB ) reported net revenue of 17.38 billion reais, up 1.8%
from the same quarter last year. Steel volumes sold rose 2.7%,
while raw steel output increased 6.3%.
