Brazil steelmaker Gerdau's Q2 adjusted net profit falls 56% to $167 million

SAO PAULO, July 31 (Reuters) - Brazilian steelmaker

Gerdau ( GGB ) on Wednesday reported a second quarter

adjusted net profit of 945 million reais ($166.96 million), a

55.9% decline from the same period last year.

Analysts polled by Reuters were expecting an adjusted net

profit of 907.5 million reais.

($1 = 5.6600 reais)
