Brazil tells World Organization for Animal Health Newcastle disease outbreak ended

SAO PAULO, July 26 (Reuters) - The Brazilian government

has notified the World Organization for Animal Health about the

end of a Newcastle disease outbreak in the country, according to

a statement on Friday from the Agriculture Ministry.

The statement said the government now awaits importers' nod

to lift trade embargoes associated with the outbreak.

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, VR Sharma, MD, JSPL, said that he expects the steel market to improve over the next 6-8 months. He explained that companies have started importing less coal in the wake of high prices triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Sharma, however expects JSPL to make more than Rs 8,000 crore profit each year, going ahead. He also mentioned that the company's current production level stands close to 8 million tonne.
