Brazil's BRF posts higher Q4 profit, best annual result in history

SAO PAULO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Brazilian meat processor

BRF posted a fourth quarter net profit of 868 million

reais ($149.33 million), higher than the 754 million reais

registered in the same period one year ago, according to a

financial statement on Wednesday.

The annual profit was 3.7 billion reais and an indicator

known as earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and

amortization (EBITDA) came in at 10.5 billion reais for 2024 --

both marking historical records.
