SAO PAULO, March 12 (Reuters) - Brazilian lender BTG

Pactual is in advanced talks to buy local bank

Digimais, newspaper Valor Economico reported on Thursday, citing

sources.

The deal's value has not been decided, the report added,

noting an agreement may be reached within a few weeks.

BTG Pactual declined to comment.
