SAO PAULO, June 18 (Reuters) - The Brazilian unit of
grain trader Cargill has acquired a soy crushing plant in the
northeastern state of Bahia, the company said in a statement on
Wednesday, without revealing the size of the investment.
The Barreiras facility employs 250 people and produces
soybean meal, pelletized soybean hulls, degummed oil and refined
oil under the Liza brand, Cargill said.
