SAO PAULO, May 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian corn production
will be plentiful, allowing the country to continue to be a
large supplier in world markets, Paulo Sousa, chief executive of
grain trader Cargill in the South American nation, said on
Wednesday during an industry event.
Brazil is currently cultivating the "safrinha" corn, which
is planted after soybeans are harvested and represents 70%-80%
of national output depending on the year. Brazil's safrinha corn
is looking very good, Sousa said.
