Brazil's Marfrig to make offer for shares it does not already own in BRF, Bloomberg News reports

SAO PAULO, May 15 (Reuters) - Brazilian food producer

Marfrig will make an offer to buy shares it does not

already own in poultry and chicken processor BRF,

Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing sources.

The deal is expected to be announced this evening, according

to Bloomberg. The companies, which will release first quarter

results this evening, did not have immediate comment.
