SAO PAULO, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Brazilian cosmetics maker

Natura said on Friday it had executed a protocol

setting the terms and conditions for the merger of Avon

industrial into Natura, and called a shareholders meeting on

October 31 to vote on the matter.

The purpose of the merger is to complete a simplification of

organizational structure, Natura said in a securities filing,

adding the merger is expected to be completed and take effect on

November 1.
