Brazil's Petrobras first quarter oil production rises by 4.4%

RIO DE JANEIRO, April 29 (Reuters) - Brazilian state-run

oil company Petrobras said on Monday that its crude

oil production during the first quarter rose 4.4% compared to

the same period last year.

Petrobras pumped 2.24 million barrels per day (bpd) in the

period, the firm said in a statement.
