12:41 PM EDT, 03/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), the Brazilian state-run oil company, said Friday it will raise the price for diesel A to distributors by 0.38 Brazilian reais ($0.072) per liter, starting Saturday.
The average price for diesel A charged to distributors will be 3.65 reais per liter, and its share of the diesel B price sold at gas stations will be 3.10 reais on average, the company said.
Petrobras said its board approved participation in the government's economic subsidy program for the commercialization of diesel oil, where beneficiary companies receive a payment of 0.32 reais per liter.
For Petrobras, the combined effect of the price adjustment for distributors and the potential benefit from the subsidy is equivalent to 0.70 reais per liter, the company said.
