Brazil's Telefonica posts 13% increase in third-quarter net profit

SAO PAULO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Brazil's Telefonica

reported on Tuesday a 13.3% increase in net profit

for the third quarter compared to the same period last year, to

1.67 billion reais ($290.4 million).

Analysts polled by LSEG expected a quarterly profit of 1.57

billion reais.

($1 = 5.7514 reais)
