SAO PAULO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Brazilian motor maker WEG

on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of

1.69 billion reais ($294.45 million), down 2.9% from a year

earlier but slightly above the 1.6 billion expected by analysts

polled by LSEG.
