Brazil's WEG net profit up 5.4% in Q2

SAO PAULO, July 31 (Reuters) - Brazilian motor maker WEG

on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of

1.44 billion reais ($256.58 million), up 5.4% from a year

earlier and slightly above the 1.35 billion reais expected by

analysts polled by LSEG.
