SAO PAULO, June 18 (Reuters) - Brazilian restaurant
chain operator Zamp said on Tuesday in a securities
filing it signed contracts with Starbucks Corporation ( SBUX )
"to explore the brand and develop" its operations in Brazil.
Zamp had agreed earlier this month to buy from local firm
SouthRock the rights to operate the Starbucks brand and some
stores in Latin America's largest economy. It added at the time
that a final agreement was still pending.
