10:53 AM EST, 12/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brera Holdings ( BREA ) said Tuesday it completed the initial closing of a deal to acquire a 52% stake in Italian Serie B football club SS Juve Stabia from majority owner XX Settembre.

Brera ( BREA ) said it acquired a 22% ownership in the club, with plans to increase its stake to 52% by March 2025, subject to agreement terms.

Brera ( BREA ) shares were up more than 32% in recent trading.
