Manish Maheshwari, the former head of Twitter India, is leaving the microblogging platform to launch his own edtech startup.

Apple's latest iOS update in its Messages app will warn children, but not the parents. The nudity detection feature though has to be turned on by parents on family shared accounts. Meanwhile, the prickly update that will allow scanning of child sexual abuse material on iCloud is on hold.

The Tracker Detect app, which Apple released on Google's Play Store, says that a user can scan to try to find AirTags or compatible devices if they believed someone is using it to track their location.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said the way we work and interact has undoubtedly been “revolutionised” by the COVID-19 pandemic. He said the technology will continue to evolve until we settle into a more permanent way of working. “Within the next two or three years, I predict most virtual meetings will move from 2D camera image grids to the metaverse, a 3D space with digital avatars,” he said in his yearly blog.
