BrightSphere Investment Group Names Kelly Young as Chief Executive; Rebranding to Acadian Asset Management

10:11 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BrightSphere Investment Group ( BSIG ) said Tuesday it has appointed Kelly Young as chief executive, effective Jan. 1.

Young, who currently leads Acadian Asset Management, replaces CEO Suren Rana, who will step down, effective Dec. 31, the company said.

Meanwhile, BrightSphere said that following the successful divestiture of six of its seven affiliates, it plans to rebrand to Acadian Asset Management and change its New York Stock Exchange ticker to "AAMI" from "BSIG."

The change of name and trading under the new ticker will be effective Jan. 2.

Shares of Brightsphere Investment ( BSIG ) were down 2% in early trading.
