05:38 AM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- British American Tobacco ( BTI ) said Tuesday that Soraya Benchikh is stepping down from her role as chief financial officer.

Javed Iqbal, who is currently director of digital and information, will take on the role of interim chief financial officer.

The company said it will launch a recruitment process to identify a permanent successor. Benchikh will remain available to support the transition until the end of December.
