July 15 (Reuters) - British regulators said on Monday
they are seeking views on the benefits and risks of digital
wallets, which have become an important "touchpoint" between big
tech firms and UK consumers.
The Financial Conduct Authority and Payments Systems
Regulator will assess the impact the rising popularity of
digital wallets, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal ( PYPL ), have
on competition and choice of payment options at checkout, among
other things.
