08:40 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brixton Metals ( BBBXF ) reported Tuesday initial assay results from its maiden drill campaign at the Cirque copper-molybdenum target within the Thorn project in British Columbia.

Highlights include 87.00 meters of 0.26% copper equivalent and 37.50 meters of 0.28% copper equivalent.

"The initial drill holes at Cirque have significantly enhanced our understanding of this early-stage drill target," said Christina Anstey, Brixton's vice president of exploration. "The presence of porphyry style mineralization and alteration is highly encouraging and gives us a strong foundation to build on as we continue to explore and advance this target."

Brixton's share price jumped 5.6% yesterday to $0.085 on the TSXV.
