05:00 PM EST, 12/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brixton Metals ( BBBXF ) on Monday announced a new copper-gold-silver porphyry discovery at the Tempest target on its Thorn project in northwestern British Columbia, marking the second porphyry system identified this season.
The company drilled one hole at Tempest, with hole THN25-356 returning 90.0 meters of 0.33% copper-equivalent (CuEq) from 22 meters, including 16.55 meters of 0.63% CuEq and 27.22 meters of 0.42% CuEq.
Assays confirmed copper, gold, silver and molybdenum mineralization associated with porphyritic rocks showing moderate to intense alteration.
Chief executive Gary Thompson said intersecting mineralization at both Tempest and Catalyst with first-ever drill holes underscores the "exceptional prospectivity" of the Camp Creek corridor, adding that the results point to a potential multi-center system.
Brixton said the hole encountered at least two mineralized porphyries and noted a large chargeability anomaly supporting the potential for a sulfur-rich hydrothermal system. Reported intervals reflect drilled lengths, with true widths not yet determined.
The shares of the company closed up $0.01 to $0.07 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
