10:05 AM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Broadcom ( AVGO ) said Tuesday it expanded the Software-Defined Edge product portfolio to support Edge AI workloads.

The updates include combined fixed wireless access and satellite support in VMware VeloCloud Edge 710 as well as in the new VMware VeloCloud Edge 720 and 740 appliances, the company said.

Additionally, VMware VeloCloud SASE has been enhanced with integrated VeloCloud and Symantec points of presence, and the VMware Edge Compute Stack has received product improvements.
