09:50 AM EDT, 10/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Broadcom ( AVGO ) said Tuesday that its Thor Ultra 800G AI Ethernet Network Interface Card, or NIC, is now sampling, adding to the group's Ethernet AI networking portfolio.

Thor Ultra is compliant with the open Ultra Ethernet Consortium specification and is designed to help customers scale their AI workloads, the company said.

Shares of Broadcom ( AVGO ) were down more than 3% in recent Tuesday trading.
