Broadcom Shares Extend Gains After Strong Q2 Earnings, Raised Revenue Guidance, European Expansion

06:50 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Broadcom ( AVGO ) share rose nearly 3% in premarket trading on Tuesday, following a more than 5% advance on Monday.

Last week, the company reported strong fiscal Q2 results, with non-GAAP diluted earnings of $10.96 per share, up from $10.32 a year ago. Broadcom ( AVGO ) also raised its fiscal 2024 revenue guidance to about $51 billion from roughly $50 billion.

The positive performance was driven by AI demand and a smooth VMWare integration.

Broadcom ( AVGO ) expanded its Advantage partner program for VMware cloud service providers in Europe, adding over 50 new Pinnacle partners since February.
