11:58 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Broadcom ( AVGO ) , Charter Communications ( CHTR ) and Comcast ( CMCSA ) said Wednesday that they are jointly developing Unified DOCSIS chipsets to deliver upwards of 25 gigabits per second speeds.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.

The collaboration will use Broadcom's ( AVGO ) embedded neural processing unit to enhance DOCSIS networks, according to the joint statement.
