09:55 AM EST, 03/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brookdale Senior Living ( BKD ) on Friday reported a weighted average occupancy rate of 77.9% during February, up 160 basis points from a year earlier.

The company also said its Q1 same-community revenue per available unit is expected to increase in the top half of its forecast range issued Feb. 20 looking for 6.25% to 6.75% growth over the first three months of 2023.

Brookdale shares were nearly 4% higher early in Friday trading.
