05:31 PM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brookdale Senior Living ( BKD ) said Tuesday that weighted average occupancy at its senior resident facilities has increased during June by 140 basis points over prior-year levels, rising to 78.2%.

The monthly rise also lifted Q2 occupancy by 20 basis points over the first three months of 2024 and by 160 points over Q2 2023, reflecting better-than-expected performance by the company compared with normal pre-pandemic seasonality, it said.
