08:33 AM EDT, 04/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) has agreed to acquire a majority stake in asset manager Angel Oak, the companies said Tuesday.

Financial terms were not provided.

Angel Oak, which manages over $18 billion in assets, will join Brookfield's credit platform but will continue to operate independently under its existing leadership, according to the joint statement.
