09:16 AM EDT, 04/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield (BN) on Tuesday received European Commission approvals for its joint acquisitions of Mustang AIV and BREF Paradise JV, with the commission noting that the transactions will not raise competition concerns based on their limited impact on the European Economic Area.

The European Commission said it has approved the acquisition of joint control of Mustang AIV by British Columbia Investment Management, Brookfield, and Norges Bank Investment Management.

The European Commission further approved the acquisition of joint control of BREF Paradise JV by Sirius and Brookfield.
