Brookfield Renewable Partners Renews Normal Course Issuer Bids

04:38 PM EST, 12/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Renewable Partners (BEP-UN.TO) after trade Friday said the Toronto Stock Exchange approved its plans to renew its normal course issuer bids for Brookfield Renewable Corp. ( BEPC ) , and Brookfield Renewable Power Preferred Equity.

The company can buy back and cancel up to about 14.26-million limited partnership units, representing 5% of the total outstanding units. Brookfield Renewable Corp. ( BEPC ) intends to renew its issuer bid to buy back up to nearly 9-million exchangeable subordinate voting shares, also representing 5% of the total outstanding. Brookfield Renewable Power Preferred Equity is looking to renew its issuer bid to buy back outstanding class A preferred shares.

Repurchases under each issuer bid can start on Dec. 18, and will end on Dec. 17, 2025, unless Brookfield Renewable or BRP Equity completes the repurchases before that date, the company added.
