06:09 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) and Brookfield Renewable (BEP) have agreed to sell their 25% stake in First Hydro Company to CDPQ, the Canadian investment group said Tuesday.

First Hydro operates electricity generation and storage facility in the UK.

Financial close of the deal is expected to occur by the end of the year, subject to customary closing conditions.
