10:55 AM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brunswick Exploration ( BRWXF ) earlier on Tuesday outlined final results from the winter drilling campaign at the Mirage Project, located in the Eeyou Istchee-James Bay region of Quebec.
Among the highlights, the company reported a new interval at the MR-6 dyke with 1.64% lithium oxide over 69.3 meters in drill hole MR-24-61 and 1.17% lithium oxide over 28.3 meters in drill hole MR-24-50 both starting from surface.
The company also reported a new MR-9 dyke, located about 600 meters northeast of MR-6, with 1.07% lithium oxide over 14.4 meters in drill hole MR-24-45 and 2% lithium oxide over 4 meters in drill hole MR-24-51, now drill traced over 400 meters.
The company also noted that there is further evidence of significant dyke stacking located 350 meters southeast of MR-6.
Brunswick Exploration ( BRWXF ) plans to announce its 2024 summer exploration program in the coming weeks, including its program for Mirage, northern Quebec, Labrador, and Greenland.
The company's shares had fallen 6.5% and hit fresh 52 week lows on last look in Canada on Tuesday. However, the broader index is down more than 200 points on the day too.
