Sep 17, 2025 2:14 PM

04:45 PM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brunswick (BC) said late Wednesday it will close its Reynosa, Mexico fiberglass boat manufacturing facility as part of plans to lower fixed costs, drive efficiency, and retain capacity for growth.

The company will transition the production at the Reynosa facility to two US-based manufacturing centers in Tennessee and Florida. The company will invest $5 million in these US facilities to bolster multi-brand production capabilities, according to a statement.

Brunswick will also shutter its facility in Flagler Beach, Florida, and its production will be consolidated into the Edgewater, Florida, operation, the company said.
