09:55 AM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Buckle (BKE) said Thursday that for the four-week period ended Feb. 1, comparable net sales for stores open at least one year grew 4.4% from a year earlier.
Net sales for the four-week fiscal month ended Feb. 1 declined 18% to $59.5 million, compared with net sales of $72.6 million for the five-week fiscal month ended Feb. 3, 2024.
The company also said comparable store net sales for the 13-week quarter ended Feb. 1 were up 3.9% from a year earlier, while net sales for the 13-week fiscal quarter ended Feb. 1 were down 0.8% from a year earlier.
For the 52-week fiscal year ended Feb. 1, Buckle said comparable store net sales were down 2.7% from a year earlier, while net sales for the same period declined 3.4% to $1.22 billion, compared with the 53-week fiscal year ended Feb. 3, 2024.
Shares of Buckle were up 1.5% in recent trading.
