Bunge Global to Sell European Margarines Business

03:32 AM EDT, 03/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bunge Global ( BG ) said Tuesday that it has agreed to sell its European margarine and spreads business to Vandemoortele, a family-owned food group in Europe.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, Vandemoortele will acquire Bunge's margarines and spreads business in Germany, Finland, Poland, and Hungary, as well its spreads and margarine manufacturing sites and a portfolio that includes 20 consumer brands, the company said.

The sale is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, the company said.
