Bunker Hill Edging Up As Advances Mine Restart in Idaho

10:40 AM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bunker Hill Mining ( BHLL ) was at last look edging up early Wednesday after saying that it continues to advance the restart of the Bunker Hill mine in Idaho.

The company said it aims to start mining, stockpiling and mill commissioning by the end of 2024, ramping up to 1,800 tonnes per day of production through the first half od 2025.

Bunker Hill said it anticipates to ship the first concentrate to the Teck smelter in Trail, British Columbia, in the first half of 2025.

"The team on the ground made excellent and safe progress in August," President and CEO Sam Ash said. "When complete, their achievement will be a standout example of sustainable building and starting an underground mine in the U.S. from initial study work to operations in under five years."
