08:07 AM EST, 12/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bunker Hill Mining ( BHLL ) on Friday said it received US$5 million under the senior secured credit facility with Sprott Private Resource Streaming and Royalty. The payment, the second tranche of the US$21 million facility, will fund the development of the Bunker Hill Mine in Kellogg, Idaho.

The site is now connected to grid power and five stopes for mining in a section of the upper mine have also been readied.

The company is preparing an updated mineral resource estimate for the mine, which it plans to issue in the first quarter of next year.
