02:24 PM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Burcon NutraScience ( BRCNF ) on Tuesday appointed Alex Varty as its interim chief financial officer, succeeding Robert Peets, who served as CFO on a fractional basis since July 1, 2024.

Shares were at last look down 3.5%. The company said Varty joined in February 2024 and has since taken on its financial and accounting responsibilities.
