Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.64.
Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended Nov. 1 was $2.71 billion, up from $2.53 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.72 billion.
For fiscal Q4, the company said it expects adjusted EPS of $4.50 to $4.70. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $4.62. Total sales are projected to increase in the range of 7% to 9%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.56 billion.
For fiscal 2025, the company lifted its adjusted EPS projection to between $9.69 and $9.89, from its previous guidance of $9.19 to $9.59. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $9.57. The company also updated its total sales growth guidance to about 8%, compared with its previous guidance of 7% to 8%. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $11.50 billion.
Shares of the company were down more than 5% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.
