07:13 AM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Burlington Stores ( BURL ) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.59 per diluted share, up from $1.20 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.28.
Total revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 2 was $2.71 billion, compared with $2.47 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.63 billion.
For fiscal Q3, the company expects adjusted earnings in the range of $1.50 to $1.60 per share on a revenue increase of 5% to 7%.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect adjusted earnings of $1.67 per share on revenue of $2.74 billion.
The company raised its fiscal 2025 adjusted earnings guidance to $9.19 to $9.59 per share from $8.70 to $9.30. It also increased its total sales guidance to a range of 7% to 8% from 6% to 8% previously.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect adjusted earnings of $9.24 per share on revenue of $11.45 billion.
Shares of the company were up more than 5% in Thursday's premarket activity.
