09:07 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- C21 Investments ( CXXIF ) , a vertically integrated cannabis company, on Monday said it completed the purchase of a 6,500-square-foot, operational retail cannabis dispensary in South Reno, Nevada, for US$3.5 million ($4.8 million).

Under the deal, the company's wholly-owned Nevada subsidiary, Silver State Relief, bought certain assets, including applicable licenses, from Deep Roots Harvest. The transfer of the regulatory assets remains subject to approval by the City of Reno, Nevada, and is expected to occur by June 12.

The company's stock was up 2.7% in Canada on Friday.
