05:06 PM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- C4 Therapeutics ( CCCC ) said late Tuesday it has appointed Paige Mahaney as chief scientific officer, starting Oct. 28, succeeding Stewart Fisher, who will retire and pursue personal interests.

Mahaney most recently served as corporate head of drug discovery at Exelixis (EXEL).

C4 Therapeutics ( CCCC ) said Fisher will serve as senior scientific adviser through the end of this year and as a consultant to the company through the end of 2025.

The company's shares were down 1.6% in after-hours activity.
