04:20 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CACI International ( CACI ) won a three-year, $500 million contract to supply its drone defense systems to the Army-led Joint Interagency Task Force 401 to defend US interests against fast-growing unmanned threats, the company said late Thursday.
The firm-fixed-price, single-award contract will procure capabilities, including counter-unmanned aerial systems and counter-small-unmanned aerial systems, according to the Department of War.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract follows operational evaluations that showed a detection range that afforded "minutes to respond instead of only seconds of warning typically offered by many lower detection range counter-unmanned systems," the company said.
