Caesars Entertainment Q3 Swings to Loss, Net Revenue Declines -- Shares Drop After Hours

04:09 PM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Caesars Entertainment ( CZR ) reported a Q3 net loss late Tuesday of $0.04 per diluted share, swinging from net income of $0.34 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected earnings of $0.14 per share.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $2.87 billion, down from $2.99 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.92 billion.

Shares fell 4% in recent after-hours activity.
