09:17 AM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Calavo Growers ( CVGW ) early Monday said the directors at the produce firm have selected Farha Aslam to be it new board chair, effective immediately.

Aslam succeeds Steven Hollister, who will remain on the Calavo board.

Aslam is the managing partner at Crescent House Capital, an investment and strategic advisory firm she created in 2019 after previously leading the food and agribusiness equity research team at Stephens Inc. She also has worked at Merrill Lynch and UBS.
