Caleres Expects Fiscal 2024 Earnings, Sales to Fall Short of Guidance -- Shares Fall

03:13 PM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Caleres ( CAL ) shares were down more than 3% in recent trading Monday after the company said its fiscal 2024 earnings and sales are expected to be below its most recent guidance.

The company now projects adjusted diluted EPS of $3.20 to $3.30, compared with its prior outlook of $3.45 to $3.55. Four analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.50.

Caleres ( CAL ) expects its 2024 consolidated net sales to be down 3% to 3.5%. It previously projected a drop of 2.5% to 3%. Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.74 billion.
