07:24 AM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Caleres ( CAL ) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $0.86 per diluted share, up from $0.65 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.85.

Net sales for the quarter ended Feb. 3 were $697.1 million, up from $696.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $694.3 million.

The company said it expects fiscal Q1 adjusted EPS to be in line with that in fiscal Q4 and net sales to be flat to up 1%. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.07 in adjusted EPS and revenue of $682.4 million.

Caleres ( CAL ) said it expects fiscal 2024 adjusted EPS of $4.30 to $4.60 and net sales to be flat to up 2%. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ are looking for $4.51 in adjusted EPS and revenue of $2.88 billion.

Caleres ( CAL ) shares were down more than 3% premarket.
